just got the key fob for my 2000 vette for my B-Day it works great it is the one for 97-99 and it has the passive switch feature and works programmed it in less than 5 minutes using owners manual have had no problems at all works great. only paid $30.00

Not sure this is tech??? but gotta ask...where did you get a passive remote for 30 bucks? Best I could do was 70 shipped on ebay.

local guy in area that sells remotes and works on gauges and other electrical parts got a hell of a deal remote is in new condition and has no damage. i dont know if he sells on ebay I found him through craigslist he was about 30 miles from where i live .............
