Throttle Body/Intake cleaning
Hi Forum Members, I'm looking for a procedure/Instruction on how to clean the TB and Intake Manifold. I have my top end apart to install the OPS relocation kit so I'm replacing the A.I.R check valves and PVC valve and hoses.
I need some advise on cleaning the components.

TB/Intake cleaning
Internal. After removing the intake some oil leaked out of the manifold.
The TB has some dirt in the opening so I plan on spraying some B12 Chemtool on the surface. I've seen a post where someone took the TB apart. I don't think thats a great idea. As for the Intake, can I spray the inside and what else can i do the clean the components?

I really like 3M high strength brake cleaner. I buy it by the case at NAPA.
It is however pretty nasty smelling. But it cleans great and drys fast.
There is really nothing to take apart on the TB. Just clean it as is and keep the cleaner out of the electrics. It's quite easy.
