-1* camber on the front with a slight to-out will eat the inside edge of the tire quite quickly.
If you want tire life then you can't be very agressive with the alignment. I can show you my set of rear PS2's with almost 40k miles on them and they've worn very evenly and aren't quite at the wear bars yet. But, the alignment is not agressive and I do a lot of highway driving. The traction has definately fallen off but actually not as much as I expected. I haven't gone far enough on fronts yet to know what wear I can expect.

What do you consider slight toe-out?. I drove my Z across country (CA to FL) earlier this year with a 2 deg negative camber in the front and 1/16" toe-out and experienced no measurable inner tire edge wear.

Depends on How and where you drive.

tire life and TRUE performance tires is an oxymoron
and I have some worn out tires that had -3.0* Camber up front and even tire wear across the whole tire.
But then again 50% of the tires time was in high speed corners too
The OP specified street purposes only. You can go on and on about track use alignments and tire wear on tracks but it doesn't apply to the question posed by the OP.
