So my car has developed an annoying chirping sound from the R rear area. At first I thought it was the shock bushings, and I still have not ruled it out. My question is, what do your guys recommend for spraying on the bushings to get rid of a chirping bushing? WD40 or? Anything else I should look at? other than "search". Thanks

I wouldn't use WD40. If you use any spray silicone would be my choice. I doubt it's a shock bushing. The sway bar bushing is more likely. The silicone spray will stop the noise for a little while, but it will come back. The best fix I've found is to wrap the sway bar where the bushing contacts with plumbing Teflon tape. This is a good long term fix.
Thanks. Interestingly enough, I did spray the area with a silicone, it did go away for a short afternoon, and its back today. So, I will take you advice and give it a look tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks again.
