Headlight Removal / Fog light replacement ??
Hey guys,
I am hoping to remove my headlights (minus the covers to original light assemblies flush with the rest of the hood) to save some weight. I was going to replace the fog lights with some good replacement LED bulbs to increase brightness and use them instead of my headlights. They will act as my headlights so I will probably need something pretty bright.
Any recommendations on new fog lights?
Will I need a special wiring harness adapter for the lights to do this?
Is there an easy way to remount/fix the stock headlight covers back in place even though the headlights will be removed??

Why are you trying to save weight? Some of the existing aftermarket systems will allow you to save some weight by not havng flip up headlights.
You would have to custom build something to keep the headlight covers in place.
You will run into electrical issues. Not sure if the amperage with the existing wiring to the fog lights will handle the draw.
Is it legal in your state to have the headlights down that far?
