Default Intake manifold removal & replacement ?

Wife has a 2002 350ci block and I'm going to replace the oil pressure sensor which is located at the back of the block between the rear of the intake monifold and the fire wall on top of the block. I've seen all the posted threads and my question is; none of them mention replacing the manifold gasget before you put the manifold back on. I'm going to follow the pics that Vectorz provided which are great but he makes no mention of replacing the manifold gasget. Please advise.

Replace the gaskets! I bought mine from a GM parts warehouse online; the gasket set is not too expensive.

You DO NOT have to remove the manifold to replace the oil pressure sensor. Do a search. There is a thread with video on how to easily replace the sensor. No cutting is required, just the correct extension and swivel for your ratchet. Save yourself a lot of time and some $. Be sure to get a GM sensor, some members have had to replace aftermarket units only a short time after install.
Here is the utube link for the video ---- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PvlDLcyXX8

I have read that the above method does not work. Can anyone post that they have done the replacement as described in the utube video successfully?

A few have posted (do an advanced search). Several have made something out of a coat hanger to get the connections (off/on).

You can get the connector off and on. I used a coat hanger with a slight bend to release the catch. I put it back on with a set of medical hemostats. What I couldn't do was get a socket on the sensor between the cowl and the intake. There are hoses and things there that were not in the car in the video. I bought the sockets and extensions recommended, but just couldn't get it done. If you can, more power to you.

Wonder if a crows foot would work there? Sure is a shame GM didn't put an access panel just above it.

You are correct. What the person that made the video failed to tell everyone, is that he removed the crossover for the crankcase vent, and the cowl seal.
