1998 with traction control and ABS lite on. mach. says he can't find the sencer or part to fix. new to c5's

You need to provide more information. The ABS, TC and AH systems are rather involved. I suggest you pull your codes using the DIC, paying attention to the "H" or "C"s with each code and post them here.

D.I.C Driver's Information Center. Its the controls on the right side of the IPC or Instrument Panel Cluster. It has the ability to display "All" of the car's codes right there in front of you and its a powerful tool to say the least. Push and hold the Options button then press the Fuel button 4 times within a couple of seconds. The diagnostic display will appear and start processing through the codes. You can use the Options, Gauges and Trip buttons to manually go up, down or into a particular system. You can use the Reset button to clear any one code or whole groups of codes but I suggest that you write them down first. The E/M button will exit the diagnostic display and yes, these can be run while driving but remember safety first.
