i agree with the nitto 555r's.

i had a ls1 running 478/428 THROUGH 4.10s and i never had an issue with them in the wet or dry. i will be buying another set of 305s as soon as i put my new forged 370 between the fenders

If I get 300 miles out of a set of Rs I am surprised. Normally corded will before that. And i only run 400 to the ground,

I didn't say he was trying to get traction in the rain, with 600hp that impossible. His question was IF he got caught what is the best tire. If you get caught in the rain Nitto's still behave like normal street tires, all the other DR's are for MAX TRACK performance and down right scary with any moisture at all, not to mention an actual down pour. Every one has an opinion, my personal experience with Nitto's is they are a very good all around street tire and do pretty good at the track. In the rain they have saved my ***, while the other DR's I had would have defintely caused me to wreck.
