Reduced engine power. Help needed
I have a 2003 C5 that is in reduced engine power. Originally the driver side door control switches would work intermittently. All switches would work with the door open but with the door closed they would not work. I checked the door wiring and connectors and didn't find any problems. Now the car is in reduced engine power but the door switches work as they should. After clearing off all of the historical codes I am getting codes; PCM - P1518HC, and TCS - C276HC, C1278H. Reduced engine power and Service Traction Control. The car set at the local dealer for three months waiting for a TCM which they said was the problem. I have no confidence in this dealer given their track record. Please help if you can.

Well, my first guess is that your TAC module may have failed... If you run a search on P1518 you'll find that a lot of members have had that issue. Why was your car at the dealer for three months? Was the part on backorder? Did they end up replacing it?

Dealer said the TCM was bad. They kept extending the delivery of the part until I lost hope of getting the car fixed there. They didn't even clear the historical codes so I'm not sure if they did anything.

These codes were taken from the DIC. That's all the info I have. I pulled the codes before taken to the dealer and there were about 40 codes, all historical except for the three shown above. I reset the codes and these three were the only codes to show up.
