Default GMPP LSx valve covers question

For those who have used the GMPP LSx cast aluminum valve covers (#25534398/25534399), do these have a provision for the hose connection(s) at the intake manifold side? The description I've found at various sources doesn't say. If not how did you modify to provide for the hoses?

If you look through this thread, you'll find how another forum member set his valve covers up. I believe he used the same ones you are asking about.

Thanks, I've read through all the old threads.

I figured I'd be drilling/tapping 1/8"npt with 90 degree elbows unless someone else has thought of alternatives. The cast aluminum isn't that thick and the 1/8"npt is a coarse thread.

Another option: the LS7 valley cover with integrated PCV (2.5mm orifice), a catch can and a breather cap for the R/S valve cover. That's how I have mine set up right now (with MTI Racing valve covers)...

Sounds like a good plan. I would, however, go with a 1/4" NPT to keep the I.D. a little larger. A little dab of JB Weld on the threads wouldn't hurt either.
Do a search over at Summit for a Spectre part #5946. It's a chrome version.
