I am starting to search and not sue if I am looking for teh right term, but basically the question is, aside form calling a tow truck and taking the Vette to the dealership, how can the steering wheel lock feature be disabled? This is on a 2001 C5, recall already "fixed" by the dealership, however sporadic issue (back to the dealership already and supposedly now resolved).
The question is, if you find your self on BFE, and experience the steering wheel issue, how can the lock be disabled (electric\mechanic)? I know this is a security system, however works too well if leaves us without being abel to drive teh car. I prefer disabling ignition, fuel pump, etc...
