Default Exhaust and new purchase.

I've only had my car a month. Up graded exhausts seem to be popular. Any threads out there to explain the entire exhaust thing. Is it just increase noise or increased performance.

Basically if you go cat-back its a more aggressive tone but almost no performance gains. Now if you go headers-highflow cat/no cat-catback system you will see a decent amount of hp/tq gains and a much more aggressive tone. All this varies brand to brand and model to model of exhaust systems. Hope this helped.

Headers will give you a nice bump in performance and it will give your car a much deeper exhaust note, they are also a fair amount lighter than the factory manifolds and h pipe. If you switch to Z06 Ti catback then you will drop a good amount of weight over the stock system not to mention they flow really well and sound great without any drone.

Default headers catback

So we are talking 2 pieces if you go headers? For example 1st piece a header. 2nd piece a catback that bolts directly rto the headers

No, there is also a mid pipe that includes a x pipe which then goes to your catback. Most headers come with the x pipe so you dont have to buy anything else to bolt your catback up.

That will give you a nice mellow sound at idle and will get nice and loud at WOT without any drone. Im very happy with my Lg's and Ti's.

Yes mine are used, if you were to buy them new it would cost somewhere in the range of 2500$ if Im not mistaken where you can get them used for around 400$. Titanium will last longer than your car so you dont have to worry about them being worn out. The only thing you have to worry about is if they are damaged or cut as it is very hard to find a place to weld titanium.
