Electronic box on passenger side headlight??

Electronic box on passenger side headlight??
Hey guys,
I removed my passenger side headlight assembly today of my 97 C5 and noticed some kind of electrical box mounted to the headlight mounting brackets. The box had two sets of connected wires coming off of it. What is this thing???

Picture would be good but,,,,,,,,,,,, I dont know of anything that suppose to be mounted to the HEADLIGHT Module OEM.. There are modules mounted on the frame header bar (headlight control module & Air Bag Control Module:

Interesting Bill....I don't have the airbag control module mounted there in my '99. I don't know which module you have there but if its the SDM, mine is in the dash. Yes, the headlamp control module is right there above it on my car as well.
