my 04 z06 engine check light came on, on the way back from a road trip at 75 mph . took it to the dealership and they found a crack in the hose from the maf sender . replaced it and still throwing code indicating lean bank 1 & 2. i have a calloway honker intake and till now no problems . any ideas? the tec said it only happens when the car is driven not at idel like most . anyone with any ideas? thanks larry
Sounds like an air leak...generally if a car has the ability to suck in air after the mass air flow sensor this can happen. I would check your air duct and all rubber connectors/hoses. I had this happen on a supercharged truck awhile back ended up being hose that came off the intake manifold after the MAF. Worst case is your MAF sensor is bad. Best of Luck!
