Not quite a apples to apples comparison considering the fact that you run FI. For that matter, they're people running "close to 600 rwhp" on LS1 intakes and stock throttle bodies.

From what I read, the LS6 manifold is almost as good and quite a bit cheaper!

LOL @ the people saying the fast intake is useless, yet they are using forced induction.

The LS6 is not as good as the FAST, period, end of story. You WILL be leaving 15-25 hp, through the curve, on the table if you have a mild->extreme N/A setup. FACT. The people who gained nothing from a fast on H/C setups either..

1) Didn't install it right (vac leaks)
2) Ported it (or had it ported) poorly.
3) Have crappy cylinder heads.

Sorry but all the guys I race with have seen very little or no gains from a swap from LS6 to a FAST.Almost all switched back.

I have seen a 30hp gain going from an ls2 intake manifold to a FAST 102 on my stock headed and cammed GTO. That car made 459 on a dyno jet with SAE correction on several different dynos.

I saw a 25 HP gain on my H/C FRC with a 90/90. This car now makes between 457-462 SAE corrected. The gain was throughout the curve and it had a very noticeable SOP improvement.

Countless others on here have made had great gains as well. Like I said above, if you do not see gains, then either you installed it wrong or the intake manifold is not your bottle neck (cam too small, crappy heads, stock exhaust manifolds, etc). Yes, to these people the FAST will be a waste of $. If your ls6 is the bottle neck, then it is absolutely a great mod that is worth the money.

Well after days of reading I am going with a Tony Mamo ported 102. The results are too impressive to ignore and well documented. I will hate writing the check for all the bits and bobs to make it work, but if Im going to do it Im doing it right. His ported fast just makes big power. I cant imagine what it would do on a 600 rwhp NA car. I will probably wait till next winter though.

I had a LS6 / Shaner TB combo on my old TA back in the day. I didnt know he still did ported / epoxied TB's.

I see 600 rwhp guy was boosted. Makes no sense why he bothered posting that info. Sure you can ram air through an ls6. You can ram air through an LS1 intake.
