What does the rest of your motor combination consist of?
You will be wasting your money if you buy a LS6 manifold AND port it.

Currently I have lg pro long tube headers, z06 titanium exhaust, vararam intake, pro torque torque converter.
I just need throttle body, intake manifold, heads, and cam.

Get a used fast 90/92 if you can find it, if not get a 102 and cross your fingers it fits ok. An ls6 will certainly leave power on the table if you plan on going heads/cam.

I would just get and use a stock ls6, unless you are trying to suck every last bit of power out of the setup. It is a big cost jump from an ls6 to a fast 102

i have seen people post well over 500 hp dyno charts with the ls6 intake here. use the ungodly amount of money the fast 102 and throttle body, not to mention the new fuel rails as well as the pain in the *** factor for install and get a set of good heads.

Do you have before and after dyno results ? Can you post your combo ? I am in the same boat. The 102 seems crazy over priced.

what heads & cam are you going with? the fast 102 might be an overkill depending on what you go with.

I tune mine with HPTuners and haven't had it on a dyno yet.

I pulled the LS6 and stock 85mm TB and went to the LSX 102 and a 90mm LS2 TB. All I can tell you right now is from about 3500 rpm up it's a beast and I can tell I'm getting on the edge of over powering my clutch.

I'm running 243 heads that AI did some mild work on with a custom cam with only .600 lift.

I don't understand why everyone is complaining about price. The intake sells for about the same price as the LSX 92 did. You don't have to buy a top of the line TB either. You can find brand new LS2 tb's for a little over $200 and I would think if you went with either LSX intake you would replace the tb anyway.

I did replace my motor mounts with the urethane and that was one of the best mods I ever did.

yes you have to replace the fuelrail because the intake is much taller. I think the fuelrail was @ $160

I do all my own work including tuning so I was only out for the cost of parts. I sold my stock intake and tb so the total cost wasn't too bad.

you can buy a brand new LS2 TB on the auction site for $277 shipped. It is sold from a GM dealer

I guess the stock parts are worth a few points.

I am agood example---I run almost 600rwhp with a LS-6 intake
and a Shaner throttle body. The only thing a high priced intake
will do --I will lose some low end torque and a $1000.

thank you,
proof positive that unless your next meal is a direct result of whether or not you dial in the quickest time, the 102 may just not be needed.
