Default wiper fluid motor wont shut off

hey all, just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem with the windshield wiper fluid motor not shutting off?? had to pull fuse to turn it off. own a 2001 z. would appreciate any insight on how to fix or if there is something else going on. again thanks for any help

The wiper control arm may be your issue. My car did that when the push button poped out. That sets off the motor until you pull the fuse.

It is most likely the button on the wiper arm stalk. You can fix it by popping out the button and replacing the spring. Just take out the two tiny springs in there and try and find one about the same length. Put it in and carefully put it back together. May have to play with the spring length to get it to work right.
