CAI Oiled or Dry?

CAI Oiled or Dry?
I've heard conflicting comments on intakes seeing a lot of oil with the oiled CAI's. I questioned if they had over oiled and the answer was no. Anybody have any info on one versus the other, I'm looking at the AFE and K&N. Thanks in advance.

If that's what you're asking I'd vote for oiled per the manufacturers recommendation. I've always recharged (clean, air dry, oil) my open element filters every 10K miles or so. Just be careful not to over use the oil...
