Default Won't Start

I got up this morning and my vette won't start. The key wouldn't go in the ignition at first. I played with it and got it to go in and then I tried to start it and The voltage dropped all the way down and the lights dimmed. I checked the battery it's good. I also tried to jump it off. No Go. Everytime I try to start it A relay clicks at the fuse panel at the passengers side. I am going to get a closer look at the fuses but I'm thinking it might be the starter that locked up. I would appreciate any help if anyone had this problem and it's a simple fix. Thanks

I hooked the multimeter to the battery and the voltage isn't dropping so I'm thinking the starter is ok. I'm thinking maybe a fuse or a ground or maybe the neutral start switch. I'll keep trying.

Did you have to FORCE the key into the ignition? What was keeping it from sliding in easily?

Please pull your DTC's and post them...

I think it's the ignition key. The code b2723 is the pass key detection circuit. I had a problem a couple of months with the key but it worked fine.

You have a lot of h codes in there that are probably no longer issues. Now that you've posted those please clear all of your codes then attempt to start your car. Then pull the codes again to see which ones reappear.

You didn't answer my first question about whether you had to force the key into the ignition??? Based on the 2252 code you're getting I'm thinking your lock cylinder may be screwed up and is not properly reading your key. If you have another key try starting the car with that and post what happens...

It also looks like you have a rear wheel speed sensor issue as you are getting current trouble codes for the rear wheel speed sensors on both sides. Check the VSS harness at the rear of the car at the top of the transmission and out to both wheel hubs...

The key was hard to put in the ignition switch. This morning it wouldn't go in at all till I wiggled and I might have forced it a little. So I'm thinking its messed up (or I messed it up) but it goes in easily now and powers up but won't start.

The b2723 code won't reset. The key sometimes won't turn. So I'm going to start to take the dash apart so it can get to the switch. Luckily the car is not my daily driver. (this gives me the excuse also to fix my hvac display) I don't have a spare key for the car.

Then the first thing you should do is get your key down to the local locksmith who will cut you a couple of new ones for a nominal sum. It is much easier than playing I wonder what key I should get after you lose your key.

I will get a second key as soon as I get a new ignition cylinder. I pulled the ignition switch. I tested the key and it read 886 ohms. I read the pigtail at the key sensor at the front of the ignition and get no reading. I got a flashlight and looked inside and it looks like I damaged it. I'm wondering if I can order it and do it myself but I'm not so sure I can do it without everything falling apart. (In short the bcm thinks I have the wrong key)
cdkcorvette7 the faults for the speed sensor are the 2 tpms sensors They don't work and I haven't gotten to getting them fixed.

I got a new ignition lock cylinder put it in and she starts and runs. Don't ever go to a dealer to get the new cylinder coded. They messed with me for 2 days and said they couldn't do it. I called a locksmith and he did it in 10 minutes. I have a second key now for the car. Thanks everyone for the help.
