Default C5 Passenger Seat Problem

Hello I have a 2000 C5 Corvette and yesterday when I went to start it my battery was dead I jumped it and started just fine and as i drove I noticed that my passenger seat was making awkward noises and started moving on its own. when I went to check it I found that it would automatically move itself forward and the motor underneath it was extremely hot. i removed the fuse and after about 2 hours the motor finally cooled off. Has anyone had similar problems? Do I just need to replace that motor? Any help would be appreciated thank you for your time.

Once you have a fully charged battery put the fuse back in and see what happens. If it still act up check the seat switches to see if they might be stuck If they are o.k. disconnect the battery for 5-10 mins. and then reconnect and recheck. If you still have problems you may have a relay sticking,Im not sure which one it would be but, give them all a firm but not hard tap with a screw driver handle and try again.Good luck.

No,I don't have my prints or owners Manuel with me but you have relays in the fuse panel under the hood and in the panel on the pass. side foot well/floorboard.
