If the car hasn't had its coolant changed in a while, IMHO, using a "radiator flush" is a double edged sword. Yes, you may have accumulated crud, which is preventing top notch performance of your radiator/cooling system. However, the flush may stir it up, where it gets lodged somwhere else, giving you worse problems.
I changed my 1998 two times, both times the old coolant looked fine so I did not flush.
The Shop Manual says you do not have to flush unless coolant is discolored. Dexcool gets a muddy brown when it's bad.
I'll give you a tip. Drain the coolant with the car level and you will get most out. If on the ground, you need to use a thin drain pan(s) and switch it (empty it) often.
