Im getting ready to install a Fast 90/90 combo along with a set of Fast fuel rails. Have looked around for someone who has posted an install of fuel rails and cant seem to find one. One of the questions I have is. On some I see a cross over line on the front of the rails and others on the front and rear. Why? Whats the difference? So the question is who has a write up with pictures of this install. I like pictures.
I prefer to run a run a front and back line on fuel rails to give a better balance if the fuel pressure drops. I don't know if that actualy works, but I've had several aftermarket systems that came that way. On a C5 it's not so easy to put a rear line on the back of the driver side rail.
I looked to see what other guys were doing and there were some pretty high horspower supercharged cars running without a kind of balance line so I guess it must okay.
I have mine feeding in from the passenger side rear and run a distribution line from the front of each rail with a tap off the front for a fuel pressure transducer.
When I install my supercharger I plan on putting a return line in the front tieing the two rails together.
I guess my new set up would be considered high horsepower. 800rwhp. I am searching for more info on this topic. As of now I do not want to cut the fire wall. I am looking for the best way to supply and return my fast fuel rails. I am planning on running a supply line to the back of the passenger fuel rail -6. And then jumping the passenger side to the drivers side in the front. Then tee off the drivers side front rail and run that line to my regulator and on to the return line. I know this could be reversed and supplied to the front and returned off the back. Anyone have an comments on this setup. I am open to sugestion.
