I will be installing an Elite Engineering tunnel plate soon. Since the oem H-pipe will be out, should I spend the dollars on an aftermarket X(H)-pipe? Which brand fits best and has best quality? I know it won't add much performance, just wanting to ease up the burbling on decel with the GHL exhaust. Read good things on the Borla and Magnaflow. Would it be better to spend the cash somewhere else? Thanks for the help!
Any thoughts on the West Coast Corvette X-pipe? Good price!
If what you're looking for is to cut down on the decel cackling, an X pipe will do it. It will help you car run and sound a little smoother. There is a reason every c6 built after 09 has an x pipe factory.
As far as which one, that depends on which car you have.

What car do you have, Z06 or base?
I have a standard coupe. After installing the GHL cat back, the decel burbling really woke up. Looking to calm it down.

I'm partial to the Corsa X due to a previous good experience. On my first C6, I installed a Corsa sport system and the decel cackle annoyed me. I installed a Corsa X pipe and the cackle became unnoticeable.
I noticed there was a Corsa X listed above. I think pretty much any X from Corsa, Borla, LG, etc would work well. The 09 and up factory X pipes seem cheesey in size and appearance but would probably work ok also.
For an early Z06 without headers, a Factory X pipe is the best you'll get.
