Default Can anyone identify this cable?

Ok So I am a litttle embarassed I have had my C5 for about a month and just found this cable last ngiht. It neatly comes out at the back of the rearview mirror. Any ideas what it was used for?

probably a radar detector power supply wired to the mirror light

The valentine one radar detector has a plug for it on the right side. Check to see if there is a hard wire for power also in the vehicle.

The other end should be plugged into your rear view mirror wiring harness. These cables are usually used in conjunction with a blendmount radar detector mount to make for a great setup with no wires hanging down from the mirror to the cigarette lighter. Also, be careful messing around with this cable as it uses a 10 Amp fuse in position 2 of your inside fuse panel underneath the passenger removable foot panel. BTW, this cable also carries the wiring for the inside lights and they are hot with the door open. The other 2 wire pairs are hot at ignition on. Hopefully, this helps out.
