Default Steering rate sensor?

This is what came up as far as codes coming up, now before I pulled the code up I'm driving my car(02" coupe) my car is all over the place feels like I have no sway bars on my car craziest feeling ever! What doe the sensor do? (I know dumb question) and what to do to fix it? I just assumed my traction control went out.
Thanks Clint

What you are noticing is that the Active Handling system is inoperative (needs the steering rate sensor to function).

maybe true, but it will not affect handling or cornering except if A/H is grabbing a brake on you.

You need to read the description of how the ABS/AH/TC system works.

Check the attachment. There are diagnostic procedures for each of the DTCs. DTCs tell you where to look not what is wrong. You don't just replace something because its name is in the DTC title.

OP: you have no codes listed in your first post as of this morning that I see. Pull the codes and post them including the "H" or "C"s with each code as suggested already. Are you seeing any Active Handling or Traction control messages on the DIC when this happens? Any pulsing in the brakes? Any other messages such as "Active Handling Warming Up"?
