Thank You Bill
As you have probably read I’ am getting the P1416 code, I did the clean out method you suggested and verified the valve is functioning properly by using air. Air does get past the valve and the valve does prevent air form getting back to the pump. What I noticed was that the air pump is not coming on at cold start. Now I want to check the Pump and control circuit. Do you know of a way I can turn on / power the pump independently? I don’t have a schematic of the control circuit and would greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance
Bruce
If you disconnect the pump wiring, you should have access to the pins at the connector. I assume that you should be able to run a 12V lead from your battery to the hot pin and a wire to ground from the ground pin. I would be sure to put a 15 A fuse in line with the power lead.
