Default Tuner for my situation

Just bought a Stock 97 A4. I just want to adjust the shift points really. I dont plan on modding this car a lot. Maybe some bolt ons but I doubt it. Just sold my Mustang GT and 2000 SVT Lightning had SCT Tuners for both.

What should I go with for this situation HPtuners, Diablosport, Chuck Cow, ECS, I dont think SCT works with 97's per their website but I could be wrong.

Let me know and no search police please, these forum search functions are less than adequate at times.

Four your situation, a good mail order tune is all you would need.

If it were me, I would do ALL the simple mods that you can install now, provide the tuner with the modification status and then get it tuned.

HPTuners is the most expensive and you'd have to figure it out for yourself. The plus side being that you can then adjust anything and everything as much as you want.

The handhelds wil give you a few options you can select yourself but they're fairly limited.

You can search for both tuners and see comments about their work. They've done the car enough times they have a decent trans performance tune completely ironed out and ready to program.
