Default Tpms upgrade questions

I would like to upgrade my 99 to the newer TPMS.

I don't use my key fob.

What do I really need to do the conversion ?

The four sensor and the receiver ?

I know that a bunch of ya'll have done the installation.

Thanks in advance for the help.

That is a good price.

Just a couple of questions.

May sound weird but I don't use key fobs.

1. What is the price minus those ?

2. Does this kit just plug in or will I need to do some wiring ?

( I'm not too good at that )

Thanks for your time

Here is a post that details the entire procedure. I dont know if Genes kit is pre wired or not. Im sure that he will chime back in and give you the answer.

I can price the kit with or without certain components. Be sure to send me a detailed message on exactly what you're looking for. We do give you a new connector with the kit, however we cannot pre-wire it since it needs to be done to your vehicle.

I will be doing mine in the next week or 2. Here is what you will need, and yes the receiver will have to be wired in. Bill linked you to the info you will need.

(1) #1 Key FOB
(1) #2 Key FOB
(1) Remote Control Door Lock Receiver
(1) Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Connector
(4) Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS)
(4) Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor Mounting Nuts

Thinking of doing the kit for my 2001, for some reason it has the older style senders so presumably the reciever will be the early type as well?
But my main concern is my car is Euro spec plus runs after market key fobs to suit the added UK alarm system, so will the reciever still communicate with rest of the electronics on the car?
