2000 C5 Coupe Exhaust
I am thinking of replacing my whole exhaust system on my C5 2000 coupe from the manifolds to the cat backs with a 2002 Z06 exhaust system. Will this be a straight bolt on swap? Has anyone done this?

THE ANSWER IS YES & NO
Yes it will bolt right up. The NO part comes in on the A.I.R. Piping on the passengers side.
The A.I.R tube mounting flange is moved to a different location further forward than where yours is bolted to. You can get around the issue by cutting the tube, doing a little bending and connecting it with a piece of high temp synthetic rubber hose.
You will have to purchase a 2001 + oil dip stick and tube as it also bolts up in a different location on the Block vise the manifold. You can see the bolt hole on the passengers side of the head.
Heres a crappy picture of where the oil dip stick is on the 02 Z. Much further forward.
Order the tube and dipstick and gaskets from Gene Culley

You will also need the 2001 + OEM steel header gaskets. Yours will NOT work!
