Default C5 Dash bulbs?

C5 dash bulbs what type/size are in there, I have tried search but only come up with reference to L.E.D. replacement I have the cluster out but can't read the printing on them. I want to replace the whole enchilada so I need to know how many and what size/type. Doesn't seem to be info that is easy to find, I don't quite understand why

Cheers! TIA

I just checked this site and plugged in 2003 since I don't know what year you have. It looks like #194 is a common instrument cluster bulb...

thanks for the link but that site is incorrect, it is not a 194 bulb that is in the instrument cluster, you see this is the problem I'm having it seems near impossible to find info on these bulbs anywhere, I have a feeling it is because GM doesn't freely share the info so they can charge the customer $500 to change a bulb, I've found lots of LED bulbs but they don't seem to mention the original bulb type/size my guess is because they want to sell LED's which is completely understandable. All I have been able to find out is the bulb is apparently a type #74 but cannot find anything solid, I have removed the bulb but there is no writing on it.
I'm about to lose it here haha

Almost any C5 tech question asked/answered can be found in C5 Tech with search or search this forum (in the red banner). The archives are a wealth of information...if you can figure out the right keywords to use.

I just tried "instrument cluster bulb" and went through several pages of past threads. This thread has a link (post #8) to McMASTER-CARR, a well known resource for fasteners and just about anything else you can imagine.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...el-lights.html

To confirm if #74 ("T" @ .23" Miniature Light Bulb #74, Incandescent, 14 Volt, 0.1 Amp) is the bulb you need, there are images of various bulbs there and pricing in bulk.

I'm sure there's been more threads on replacing the oem bulbs but I didn't have the time to check them all out for you.
