I, too, saw there posting for the relocation kit. I tried using their links, but "could not be found". I went to the website they had listed. It is gone, not just "down". The URL is available, meaning that it is no longer theirs.

I sent an email to Jeff @ the TPE address, came back "undeliverable".

I sent an email to Jennifer, listed at the bottom of one of their postings. No reply.

I called the phone number listed on their posting... no answer.

I sent a Private Message to Jeff, requesting information. He replied, "would you like to buy one?" I indicated yes, and asked for a phone number where I could contact him. No reply.

I sent another PM (through this Forum), requesting a contact phone number... no reply.

While they are still listed under the "Vendors" listing, there ad no longer appears on the side of the Forum pages.

At this point, I have no further interest in TPE and believe that they are totally gone. Maybe someone can prove me wrong.

Good on you for taking all those steps, I gave up after I could not find a website / phone number.

I did end up building the custom relocation kit with the buick sensor as per the thread I linked to. So far its working great although I had some trouble getting it installed with the intake manifold still in place, I had to buy a crows foot wrench set to tighten down the pipe adapter to the m16 adapter, then again to tighten the braided line to the pipe adapter.

So far as I know, there is no adaptor available for m16 x 1.5 female to AN or NPT. I believe that the kits available use a Buick sensor instead, which is NPT.

Search for other posts for the Buick sensor number.

If someone else has found that m16 x 1.5 female by AN or NPT adaptor, please post number, where you found it.

I found my notes on the Buick sensor. It is # 12584940. Try GM parts direct, reportedly $41.58 shipped.

I seem to recall an old post that talked about an Autometer adapter that was that specification. Even gave a link to Jegs IIRC. Check Autometer online catalogue.

You are correct, nobody in the world seems to make an m16 x 1.5 female to NPT of any kind. At first reading I didnt realize the buick sensor is already NPT , which totally solved my problem.

You can save a bit if your handy. Once you have the failed OP sender out you can break off the plastic top and pull out the electronics. Then you can tap the oil hole in the brass base of the old OPS to accept a 1/8" or 1/4" male SS braided flex hose that can be run to a location under the fuel rail covers.
There is also a Buick version of the Chevy brass OP sender that uses the same wiring connections but has 1/8" NPT brass nipple on it making it much easier to find connecting parts.

or for less you can get a lifetime warranty version from O'Riley's Auto Parts BWD - Oil Pressure Sender Part # S4201 $39.99 Each
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...ensor!s!switch
I also used an Earl's Performance Speed-Flex SS brake line https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ear-64151518erl
and a Edelmann 203200 1/8-1/8 coupler https://www.summitracing.com/parts/edd-203200
to connect up the sensor to the SS line.
Total cost was about $57.00 for parts.

The kit on Amazon is over $100, you can make one without a gauge for less than $50 with far better components. Any questions, pm me.

Here's the Buick model, some ideas for a remote sensor setup, and some parts sources. Note that the Buick sensor has a different thread pattern than the Chevy sensor.

The thread in the engine block is 16mm x 1.5. The fitting for the block in the chart below, converts to -8 AN to connect from there on.

This top picture is from another CF member...

Ps. Earls hoses are complete crap. Aeroquip are excellent and often cost less.
