A friend of mine just bought a 98 Corvette and he needs a new clutch. I would like some recomendations. He will need something heavy duty, but not killer on his leg. The car will be a driver, I don't picture him doing any drag racing or road racing. Thanks in advance.
What do you mean by he will need something heavy duty? We will need to know how much power the car makes to suggest the proper clutch.
I recently went with the LS7 clutch with a ram aluminum flywheel, and so far am very pleased. The clutch pedal is just like stock, and it will hold about 525-550 rwhp. There are many vendors in the forum selling an entire out the door deal on the LS7 for a very reasonable price. Monster clutches are another good option.
