Question about steering rack leak
I have a minor power steering leak somewhere on the passenger side.
All I know for sure, is that it puddles on the passenger side steering rack boot. I tried adding flourescent dye to the power steering resevoir, but so far none of the oil that leaks on the boot has had any dye in it.
I've wiped everything down several times and the leak always comes back, so I think it's definitely a leak somewhere. I just don't understand why the flourescent dye hasn't made it from the resevoir to the power steering rack leak yet.
Is the oil that is inside the rack....non re-fillable? I am assuming that it's the same fluid that's in the power steering resevoir.
