Remote Start for 2000 Automatic C5?
I've found a few threads on this subject, but nothing too helpful. I'm wondering if any of you have suggestions on which remote start would be most compatible with my 2000 automatic C5? I'm interested in putting it in myself. It would be great if any of you knew of a company that manufactured something perfect for a C5 with step-by-step instructions. Ideas?

Any remote start will work. The tricky part is the VATS bypass. But even that is has been around so long that its a very reliable thing to do now. www.fortin.ca have a look at the bypass. There is a million different starters and bypasses. Pick two and have at it. The actual wiring is simple too, just depends on your skill level and the cosmetics of the job after. Where are you located?

Many thanks for the reply. I'm located near Woodbridge, VA, about 30 miles south of Washington, DC. I've been poking around for a couple of days now trying to figure out which system to get. I'd be most interested in just about any system that would show the steps for my C5.
