How much free (back lash) if any is a throttle plate suppose to have ???...

When the car is off. If you were to put your finger on the throttle plate and move it back and forth with out turning the servo motor ?? I think mine may be worn out only 60,000 miles on car.

The problem I am having is a small stumble when in low rpm range when fully off the peddle , ARF a little rich 13.7 but when you are on the peddle sensor reading range of 1-3 percent its running ARF 10.7- 11.5 as soon as you go above 3 % peddle leans out for a split second 16.2 the drops to where is supposed to be ARF 14.6..

I have tried everything in HP tuners to get rid of this and nothing I do changes this problem

I am stumped

Its a SD tune HP tuners 2 bar map OS A&A supercharger kit . New MDS plug wires NGK plugs . Checked all coils

Even leaned out VE table in the 20 25 kpa area as low as 25 percent ..... no change still runs 10.7-11.5 ARF in that range

ANY INPUT would Help

You didn't drill a hole in the throttle plate did you (or anyone else)?

No but almost ready too LOL But before I went that nuts I Re flashed the system back to a 1 bar OS and hooked up the MAF that is scaled back in the software. Took her for a drive its 90 % better I think the biggest problem was I had the blow off valve set too hard (was almost wanting to stall when pulling up to a light then would recover )

The ARF readings still drop big time in the 1-3 percent Peddle position area but not the stumble I was having before

So for now I give up on a SD tune and back to a scaled back MAF tune ....

Must be normal for some backlash in the gears of the throttle body
