I believe that is very close to a ms3 cam and very close to the cam in my car. Its by no means a small cam. Its not insane but some good tuning will be needed for it and it will have an awesome lope to it. That cam makes very good power north of 4000rpm but youll feel the torque come on around 2500-3000rpm...at least I do with ky 3600 stall. You will need some very good heads to get the most out of it though, and some very good valve springs. I think youll be very happy. I dont dd my car but i do drive it a lot. Even with that big cam is does very good in traffic though tue cam doesnt like stop n go traffic for long periods of time. In my opinion I think it a good mild cam right before wild.
what heads do you plan on using? That is a very BIG cam.
Stock or the OEM heads do not flow much if anything more above a cam lift of .590 let along above .600. Good aftermarket heads with that cam would not be a problem
I would call a pro if I were you, there are too many variables involved to get a generic answer. also a good set of springs will set you back $200-$300 plus install, or u can buy the tool to do it yourself, what im getting at is a good set of 243 heads or 799s can be had for under $600 and really take advantage of the cam u choose.. do you want to sacrifice low end torque to make the loping sound you are after? ever plan on running nitrous? what is your targeted RPM range? what kind of driving are you wanting to do EX: drag racing, hwy power, fun all around power? those are all questions a good tuner will ask you when specing out your cam. go too big and you might regret it.. When u get it narrowed down to a few differant profiles you can type in the specs on google video search and you can usually find some videos on youtube that will give you a good idea of what it might sound like. Ill PM you the name and # of the guy I used when I ordered mine he knows his stuff and you can find alot of happy customers of his on this forum. good luck sir
