Well 2 weeks ago I had an issue with my car while was trying to put in a tune. The car ended up loosing all electrical power. I ended up buying a new battery and when I connected it the starter would not stop. The only was to get the starter to dissengage was to start the car.
Maybe bc I tried to start the car and it got stuck?
So this morning I go to start my car and get a click click click.
I look under the hood figuring maybe the alternator is toast. When I go to check the battery voltage I notice the POSITIVE is completely melted off.
I ended up putting my other battery in the car and the starter went off again.
I checked the resistance from the alt to battery and had 0.000
I checked from the battery to the fuse block and got -.008.
Could my starter be causing a draw? possibly the solinoid is messed up?
