The center piece is spring loaded and flexes back, but the sides are not. I noticed that on one side, there is space between the spoiler and the bottom of the nose. I assume it has been pushed back, and pulled down the fiberglass a little. I don't think tightening it will pull it back flush. Basically, its sagging a little. My car is also lowered now.
Anyhow, has anyone just taken the side pieces off, if so how does it look, or any other ideas?
mine have been off for years, because they constantly scraped and were sagging something terrible - very ugly. I have no problems at all with them gone, and it looks fine (better than droopy parts anyway).
I'll get some pix tonite and email them. I haven't established a host for posting pix yet. I'm sure aerodynamics are affected, but this is only of concern when traveling at HIGH speeds - which I don't do much of. Normal highway cruising at 90 is not affected.
