WHERE are you guys using Amsoil?
Engine, tranny, rear?
One, two, or all 3 places?
Can you use it in just the engine, or engine & rear, skipping the tranny??
I understand changing the transmission oil in a C5 is a very difficult task.

In the transmission...It's the best you can get! When I had the transmission rebuilt the technician insisted on it to keep his warranty in effect. So far ....NO problems.:D

I have Amsoil in the engine and rear end. As soon as my 12 qts of ATF comes in this week, it is going into the transmission at Jiffy Lube. According to Amsoil literature, ATF meets or exceeds the specs for DEXRON III.
(PS: JiffyLube is charging me $70 to do the trans fluid exchange and I am providing the ATF)

The Universal ATF is recommended for either trans. I happen to have Amsoil lubricants in the engine, trans, and diff. There is no better alternative IMHO. It can be ordered and shipped right to your door with very little difficulty. :cheers:
