Wheels and Offsets
I don't understand offsets. My '04 convertible has O.E. Concepts thin spoke chrome wheels 17X8.5 with an offset of +58 and 18X9.5 with an offset of +65. I am thinking of changing them to a set like the GS style from WCC; in the sizes noted their offsets are +56 and +57 for Front and rear. Is the offset strictly an adaption from the factory original wheels so the suspension and/or position of the wheel stays the same? Was there an offset with the original painted wheels? I am confused. Vette Brothers can you help out the old man 'cause he is "comboobalated." Thanks.

C5 (except Z06) OEM Wheels are offset 58mm on the fronts, and 65mm on the rears.
