I decided to take the plunge myself ..So i stopped by my local dealer today to begin the Oil Consumption test..But to my surprise the dealer told me that they could not get my car on the lift to do the Oil change..(Said that my car is to low to get on the lift ) .So now i need to find another dealer , personally i think they are full of S**T..The service manager just didn't want to deal with it.
The Chevy Dealers i've dealt with in San Diego suck.
Well, good luck. Everything will be just fine and if you get the car back by Thursday, I owe you a bottle of Zaino of your choice so do not rush them and be courtious. Just my thoughts ;)
Let them take their sweet time. I wouldn't want anyone to rush on this. I had mine done. Took a day to drop engine. A day to rebuild it. A day and a half to put back in. A day to align. I've know the service manager for years and I let him take the car home two nights to work out the bugs (there were a few little things...a squeak here and there). You can't tell the engine has been out. I just can't wait to finish breaking it in and see how it runs WOT and on the dyno.
Best of luck. I couln't sleep either. One would think that it was a family member in the hospital or something. I decided to get it done early (on the car's first birthday :yesnod: because it gives me another year for problems to surface while still retaining the option to battle the lemon law.....)
