Belt/Tensioner Problem?
I have had a problem with what I thought was a squeeky belt-had it replaced and the problem went away (for about a day). I talked to the mechanic who replaced the belt and he said he checked the tensioner and that was good. All I know is that it is squeeking badly, and when I push in the cluch the sound stops. Any ideas? Doubt that this has anything to do with it, but I recently changed the rear differential fluid-I did that with Amsoil Severe Gear 75w90. I was told I didn't need to add any additive to the gear oil, could that be what is making the noise?

The tensioner assembly bracket was a source on mine.
