I just finished reading several threads on the cold/hot problem. Driver side blowing cold, passenger side blowing hot, and vice versa. My blower motor had gotten noisy so I replaced it. Right after that I noticed my automatic climate control was blowing cold on D side and hot on P side. Is there any way the two could be related or is it just a coincidence?
I assume you have the dual control system? If so, check your DIC for codes, it could be something easy or not. Also, check and make sure your system is blowing through the correct vents, since you were working down there, its possible you loosened a vacuum line?

Thanks for the reply. It's blowing out the correct vents. The codes are B0365 H B0367 H & B0446 H C. Everytime I clear the current code it comes right back.
Lothar34,
Thanks for the reply. I checked those vacuum lines on the manifold that I didn't notice when I replaced the blower. I just removed the blower and thought I would reinstall it. I guess what the blower plugs into is the module. I'll look at that too.
I removed the blower, reinstalled it, jiggled wires, pulled fuses and nothing changed. The new twist is when I clear the B0446 code the A/C system stops/shuts down and then about 20-30 seconds later it comes back up. Does that shed any light on the problem?
1- The Duel Zone Actuators are not functioning properly
2- The system is LOW on R-134. If you listen carefully, when you turn the temp ****, you should be able to hear the actuactors move.
If you have DTCs, Turn the HVAC to OFF. Clear the DTCs and see if you can hear the actuators cycle. Turn the HVAC to ON and see if you hear the actuators cycle.
They can also cycle but be in error if the DRIVE GEAR on the actuator shaft is cracked / damaged and that will cause the DTCs that you were seeing and the cooling/heating issues.
When was the last time that you have the system pressures /charge status checked? The proper Charge is critical for efficient and correct AC operation.
I really don't hear anything. I'll listen a little closer.
I took my freon hose that has a gauge on it and when I hooked it up the needle went to the center of the blue section that says filled. The PSI is 35. I haven't tried to put any in.
That doesnt tell you much.. What was the condition of the HVAC System? On,, OFF,, Full Load,, ststus of engine RPM.... what is the outside temp?????
Make s BIG difference in what the gage means.

Thanks Bill.
My brother-in-law has all the a/c equipment. When he gets back in town he'll take a look at it. What bothers me is the cold/hot issue started after I installed a new blower motor. Coincidence? Maybe. What you think?
I even removed and reinstalled it and still didn't help.
