425rwhp/379ftlbs SAE corrected. I'll let the video speak for itself. I can tell you though that she is an absolute handful now.
Haha, wait about 2-3 months and it will feel like a toyota corrola. Then you will do a fast/heads...then in another 2 months, it will feel even slower than stock .
It will consistently “hunt for idle” bouncing from 500-1300 rpms. It’s real bad with the AC on. Embarrassing as hell sitting at a light!
I even dropped the coin on a second tune, but it’s still there.
I then got desperate and tried the "drill a hole in the TB blade", which did help but I was ready to shoot myself for doing that to a brand new $600 TB.
At this point I just ordered a GM LS2 ported TB and velocity ring for the Fast 102. I'm really hoping it’ll resolve the issue. I’ve been told the 102 TB is overkill on my basically stock cam’d LS1, and will cause a loss in power.
I have to ask you tho…do you hear a lot more valve train noise after the car is warmed up? I’ve read about the sewing machine noise, but after my car is at operating temp it sounds like my old 1971 Plymouth Duster 6cyl. Loud ticking sitting inside the car. I don't really hear it when it's cold.
Good luck with your new found power!
Yeah it definitely got a lot louder, which is to be expected. It did it on my GTO too. I'm really surprised that you're having that idle issue though. Roshan is on point with tuning. However I have heard a TON of stories of idle issues with fast 102/120 tb set ups. Good luck!
