Hey guys, I was just having issues with the Z and it kept going into reduced engine power mode. Well Im having another situation. I replaced the steering position sensor and all was well until just a few minutes ago. It is now back in reduced engine power mode. I pulled the codes an they are as follows,
P1220
P1221
P1515
Car has a 90mm TB and a Casper conversion harness, so any idea guys?
Try putting the old TB back on and see if it cures it.
Hey just to double check it, I went and got my buddies Throttle body again, along with ordered a brand new casper harness, and even a new throttle body HAHA. I wanna cover all the bases, lol. I went back and looked at my previous codes when i was having the same issues and it was throwing these codes then so we should know here pretty soon.
Thanks for reminding me to try it again now that the SWPS is replaced

Make sure you wring out the casper harness with a meter first. They are notorious for being pinned up wrong.

Thanks Lucky131969, you were right, although i didn't have to use a meter . Zeus_of_boost was nice enough to lend me his while my new one was on the way and fixed it all up today when the new one got here.
UPDATE: (just in case someone else down the road searches and finds this thread and wants to know what fixed it) It was the throttle body harness from casper. Turns out one of the wires had been pulling out for a good amount of time now which explains why i was having intermittent electrical gremlins every time i would remove the TB and anything like that.
Thanks again guys......... Im hoping the gremlins will leave me alone for a while now.

For future reference: Use Racetronix instead of Casper's harness products. Pricing is pretty much the same, if not actually lower, and the overall quality better.
