I have a 98 MN6 coupe with base springs, Bilstein sport shocks, and Z51 sway bars, will changing over to either Z06 front bar, or the Hotchkis bars make a noticeable difference?
[EDITED] If you have the '99 or earlier Z51 bars then yes swtiching to the Z06 bars will make a slightly noticable impovement. However, if you have a 2000 or newer Z51 bars then there probably won't be any noticable impovements........since the front bar is the only difference between the two setups and only by a tad.
Hi, I am Mako on the Corvette Forum. If you are considering Z06 Sway Bars, I have my mint condition bars that came off my car (with about 600hp I needed bigger bars).
They are at MMS in Reseda.

My bad, i meant to say "99 or earlier" and "2000 or newer" in my previous post. If you have the 2000 sway bars then the only difference between yours and the Z06's is the front sway bar..........which is only slightly larger. If you can, look for someone willing to part with just a front Z06 bar.
do a search on the hotchkis bars before you buy them. there are concerns about rattles and squeaking with these pieces. it took 3 months of tweaking the things to get them right, but they are soooo much better than my 99 Z51 sway bars. finally i tightened the end links so much i was ready for them to break. the real noise came from the rubber bushings with the carpet like stuff inside, sounded awful. hotchkis sent me their new smooth bushings and since i installed them the car is quiet as new.
added bonus, the transitions in turns is much smoother with the new bushngs.
good luck
