Default ProCharger

All,

With the him-haw debating on upgrading to a new car, new car prices, higher insurance, etc...I have tossed around the idea of upgrading my C5 FRC instead. This is just an option....But, does anyone know of the possible gains with a ProCharger set up on the following:

Forged 402
AFR 225 heads
LG Pro Longtubes
FAST 90mm TB / Fast 102mm Intake

(Andy recommends to swap my G6X3 cam to a blower cam)

I would like to get maximum performance WITHOUT going to methanol injection. 91 Octane.

I am at 505 rwtq now, 495 RWHP. The ProCharger website states 55% gain, so, if my NY Public School calculations are correct, that increases me "approximately" 275 +/- with a P1-SC to yeild "about" 750-775.

Does anyone have experience? I know A&A out of CA has a good rep, so they would most likely be my point for business in this arena, if selected.

Input, advice, suggestions?
Thanks in advance

If you went with a P1SC you'd be about @ its max capacity for possible H.P. that you could make, you'd be better off with a D1SC, as it should better support your big C.I.'s

I've got the D1. With a well built bottom end I would go bigger. I had it calculated out at one point but decided to allocate funds elsware. They have a unit that moves a lot more CFM that will hook right up to the same intercoolers and everything. I think it was the F-1A.

Current compression I believe was set at 10.89:1. Running a 91 Octane tune at the present. Big cam. Compression will need to be lowered, I know. What is easier? Heads, Pistons? If I have to replace heads, I may be able to recoup some from my AFR 225s.

Are you dead set on a procharger? If not, and A&A kit will get you 175-200rwhp easily. An ECS kit will get you a little more (they have a bigger head unit with the Novi-1500)

The easiest thing is to get a thicker head gasket.

What is most safer and reliable? ECS Novi-1500 / Procharger? I don't have any forced induction experiences.

495*1.55 = 767.25
