Default Long tube header drone

I have Dynatech long tube headers and stock Ti exhaust, there is a lot of drone on acceleration. Is there a brand of longtube headers that has no drone with the Ti exhaust?

Which exhaust manifold gaskets did you use?
Are you real tight with the bolts/nuts on the flanges from the x pipe to ti
catback with good gaskets in between?

Hmmm...typically, it is the catback...that is the source of the drone..

Drone? You mean it makes more noise then stock? Because thats what happens when you buy long tubes. I dont think ive ever heard anyone describe acceleration noise as drone.

I used stock GM gaskets and everything is tight. This isn't the noise coming from the tailpipes it's drone coming from the area of the headers, a loud resonant on acceleration.

NO, thin wall SS LT headers regardless of brand, are or will be as quiet as the OEM manifolds. I have never seen SS LT Headers cause DRONE!
I have a LARGE cam in my 02 ZO6 and at a slow idle, I can hear the intake valves shut!

Like LUCKY stated, DRONE is normally a result of the types of MUFFLERS that you have. ZO6 Ti mufflers are one of the mufflers that do not "USUALY" produce any drone. Are you sure that you have true C5 ZO6 Ti mufflers??

What Modifications do you have? Aftermarket Cam, Heads,????

When you run an aggressive cam and increased compression, the exhaust note can get somewhat LOUDER than it was with the same exhaust system with the OEM cam and compression ratio.

My Stainless Works system was not overly loud and had basically no drone at all on my basically stock 20 ZO6 heads and cam.

Once I increased the CR to 11.5:1 and installed a high 240’s duration cam / 610 / lift 114+4 duration, those same mufflers now are a LOT louder and have a little noticeable drone. Nothing bad or aggregating!
