Thinking of doing a clutch even though I don't need one since my diff needs to come out. While at it, adding a remote bleeder comes to mind (along w/ a new slave).
What do these bleeders look like? What can go wrong w/them? Are they reliable?
I've had bad luck overall w/aftermarket reliability so I'm a bit reluctant to mess with the bleeder.
The remote bleeder is a braded hose with a bleed nipple (just like the ones on your brake calipers) that allows you to flush your clutch fluid without lifting your car. Many vendors here sell them. I personally feel there are no cons to this mod!
What is the bleed procedure? For the brakes I put a motive on the master and then just turn the screw located at the nipple you describe.
Where is the nipple going to be located?
More importantly, how is the braded line attached to the hydraulic system? Is it treaded in w/ crush washer or soldered on or what? This joint would be the one I'd worry about leaking and becoming a problem.
