Ok so I had to swap out my IPC since for some reason my 2 black lights, background lights, were not working. I got the new IPC and everything is working right but obviously the odometer needs updating. Ok so anyhow, do I install the cluster first and then get it programmed thru the OBD port or do I bring the cluster itself into the dealer for reprogram?
p.s. I did try to swap the power supply from the new to the old and it was not the issue, in my case. Looks like I will have to swap clusters. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

You can swap the odometer info over, by swapping the board.
I suspect the main board is bad. I checked the port on the main board that goes into the power supply, for the lights, and it looks good. I can't pinpoint whats making my lights not work but it's definitely in the cluster somewhere. I swapped power supplies, bulbs, and nothing seems to work besides putting the new IPC in. Only thing I have yet to try is putting the old power supply on the new IPC to see if I get anything. I'm afraid to try that though. Don't want to wreck the new IPC.
